Today I have another stunning polish to show you.
Aruba Blue is vibrant cobalt blue shimmer polish from Essie's core collection. It's gorgeous and looks so great in both low light and sunlight.
The formula is good and application was easy. It was almost opaque in 1 coat, but I gave it a second one for full opacity. Drying time was not that impressive though, but a fast drying top coat fixed that.
Here it is with 1 layer of top coat in natural light.
And in sunlight.
At some point I saw someone who had stamped on a dark blue polish with silver and it looked really good, so I wanted to try that and fortunately I just got some new stamping plates from MoYou London.
I stamped with a silver stamping polish from Dashica and MoYou plate Pro Collection 05.
Here it is with top coat in natural light.
And in sunlight.
I really think it looks great!

What do you think?

Roses and pastels
Today I have some nail art for you.
I felt like using a bit of summer colors and pastels, so I found a photo on instagram from the user @g2thelo that I really liked and used for inspiration.
Here it is with 1 layer of top coat in natural light.
The purple polish is OPI - You're Such A Budapest, the mint one is OPI - Gargantuan Green Grape and the white is OPI - Alpine Snow with OPI - Funny Bunny over to make it look more creamy.
To make the stripes I used tape over Alpine Snow and then 2 coats of GGG. The roses are painted with acrylic paint.
I think it looks kinda sweet and summery.

OPI - Black Shatter
Today I have a different kind of polish for you.
Black shatter is an effect top coat (of sorts) to put over a base color and when it dries it crackles which makes a nice effect.
Formula was a little thick and it made application a bit of a hassle, but it wasn't too bad. It dried fairly fast.
I think with a polish like this it's easier to just show you some photos, so here it is over OPI - Kiss Me I'm Brazilian and A England - Avalon and with my homemade holo top coat over it in natural light.
I have been told that if you use a thin coat the crackles will be small, but I really like it when they are big and you can really see the base color, so I always give it a thicker layer.
It was a cloudy day, but the sun just popped out for a few minutes so I hurried out to get some sun photos of it aswell to show you the holo.
What do you think? Have you tried crackle polishes and did you like it?

Formula was nice for a glitter and application was fine. I only used 1 coat over a pink base, but I think you can layer it on its own aswell, it might take 3-4 coats to get opaque thou. Drying time was great.

A England - Ophelia
Today I have another beautiful polish to show you.
Ophelia is a black base with purple shimmer from A Englands Gothic Beauties collection.
It's a gorgeous polish when you can get the purple to pop out, unfortunately that's a bit hard to do *sobs*
In the bottle you can see the purple very easily, but on the nails its quite hard to see unless you juuust hit the right lighting. Which also made it difficult to catch with the camera.
Formula is, like other A Englands I have tried, great and makes application easy, it was almost opaque in 1 coat, but I had to apply one more thin coat to get it totally opaque and drying time was nice too.
Here it is with 1 layer of top coat in natural light.
It looks black in low light.
Here it is in direct sunlight (I hate the silver lids when taking photos in sunlight.....)
I have tried to catch the purple, but it was really difficult.
What do you think?
Application: 10/10
Opacity: 9/10
Colour, prettiness: 7/10
Value for money: 8/10
Overall: 8,5/10
Buy again: Probably not.
